Abstract

Due to a long tradition of exegesis about myth, any scholar in Theory of Literature is forced today to make a synthesis of the research within the fields of Philosophy, Psychoanalysis and Antropology. This brief study tries to trace the evolution of theoretical discourse on myth along the twentieth-century, underlying the ways in wich Theory of Literature has reflected in this issue.
