Ezra Pound and the Visual Arts: In the vortices of Modernity

Abstract

In this study I try to demonstrate the importance of Ezra Pound's work as an art critic and his deep involvement in avant-garde art matters at the beginning of the twentieth century. Above all, this paper focuses on the role played by Pound in the diffusion and promotion of Vorticism.
